Have you ever come close to or actually given up practicing? Why, and what led you back?
I was totally turned off of Zen many years ago.The practice seemed contrived and false when I saw the coldness, petty meanness and shallowness of the teacher and other Sangha members.Took almost 20 years to recently come back.Don’t know why.
